Sarah Atereth is a New York–based painter. She uses acrylic and mixed media, building layered textures and bold, graphic compositions.

Color is rarely polite. She often prefers a scrape, an awkward line or an unexpected mark to perfection. The viewer finds a story of their own inside the one she began.

Sarah’s artistry spans music, songwriting, dance, performance and visual art. Her international career as a recording artist and songwriter includes multiple Top 10 Billboard and No. 1 UK dance chart hits. Her paintings hang in private collections around the world.

Combining her love of art with her love of dogs, she has painted dozens of commissioned pet portraits, raising thousands of dollars for dog rescues, including Grateful Greyhounds.
